An International Network Of Yachting Enthusiasts
Young Professionals in Yachting (YPY) is a non-profit organization, which has been formed to educate, promote ethical business practice, and ultimately facilitate success for young professionals within the worldwide yachting business community.
We are dedicated, enthusiastic, and ethical young professionals networking, sharing knowledge, and nurturing long-lasting relationships to achieve success and global recognition within the yachting industry.
Regular meetings occur every month and consist of sharing industry news, hosting professional development seminars, and fostering professional development. We allow members to share any industry news or updates for discussions, and encourage new ideas and member collaboration. The association also hosts sponsored social events for networking opportunities.
Membership is limited to land-based business professionals within the yachting industry between the ages of 21 and 40.
"The goal is to provide young professionals with a comfortable and educational environment which nurtures those who aspire to learn, succeed and secure the professional and ethical future of the yachting industry." Former YPY President, John Jarvie
"Now that the organization has gained momentum in South Florida, we look forward to the addition of Monaco and London chapters of Young Professionals in Yachting. We now aim to sustain our South Florida chapter, successfully grow our European counterparts, and to eventually provide a platform for all worldwide members to connect as well. The organization will make small differences to adapt to European culture, but its mission and operation will emphasize the same principles.Former YPY President, John Jarvie
"We want young professionals to have a place and identity of their own in the yachting industry, with emphasis on building long-lasting partnerships between our members, other industry veterans, and related groups and associations along the way."YPY Founder, D.J. Kiernan
